[Voice/Action]
[While he's spent the past few years keeping out of village conflicts and issues entirely, this is a rare time that Vincent is stirred to action. These monsters sound like serious business. Besides, he hasn't slept in days thanks to the nightmares, and needs some kind of an outlet. The demons are all too close to the surface... but that's entirely the point. Better he lets them out on the monsters than on the people he cares for the most.]
There is no choice. I know it's been a long while since I've engaged in battle... but I will join in the fight against this threat.
[He's off to shoot beasties... and during the fighting he'll become a beast himself. They're even less controlled than his counterpart's, so if you're encountering him mid-battle, there is a danger of him accidentally turning on you. He's trying his best to stay alone and keep away from any groups of villagers for this reason, but... well... mistakes happen. If he's encountered early on, he'll start as Galian Beast, but if it's a later time, he'll turn into progressively stronger ones, concluding the beastie invasion as Chaos.]

[...Then he catches a familiar sight... Terra. His thoughts instantly go to the time he attacked her. Because after all this time he still dwells and still fears something happening. He hopes she doesn't get too close.]

Vincent....
no subject
Terra! Stay away!
[Fortunately he hasn't yet finished off the beast coming at him, so can keep the monster that he's become focused on something other than her.]

...Terra?...
no subject
Yes, it's me. You...why are you out here?
no subject
...I heard about the creatures, storming through the village. I thought... I felt it important that I assist in any way that I could.

[Vincent had been more concerned with the fact there were monsters here, than anything else.]
no subject
They seem to be searching for something...or someone, but no one knows what -or who- that might be.

[Looks away for a moment. The time that he'd attacked her and harmed her still haunts him.]
...You were fortunate this time.
no subject
I wanted to make sure that you would be safe, too.
no subject
...Thank you, Lu... Terra. But I promise, I can handle myself fine. It's everyone else I worry about.
[...oh. Now why was that name in mind? He must have dreamed about that mysterious woman again, even in that short moment he was asleep...]
no subject
...Lu?
no subject
Someone from my dreams. I apologize, the name must have been fresh in mind.

[The 'Lucrecia' woman was nice to dream about, but some of the things Vincent's had in his dreams are things best left unseen, unheard, unspoken of ever again.]
no subject
[If that one neighbor dreamed of him as well, then perhaps it's a trend....]
no subject
[He's unsure if he wants to talk about it.]
There was a mad scientist.

[The rest of what happens gets a lot more nightmarish, so Vincent hesitates, not sure if he wants to tell her about all of it.]

[Which had been disturbingly vivid. Vincent has no idea what a gunshot feels like, but his imagination apparently filled in the gap for that.]
no subject
I'm so sorry, Vincent. I wonder what all this means....
no subject
I don't know... but I hope we have an end to these nightmares, soon.

...Terra... if anything worse happens... you only need to say the word and I'll be there.
[He knows she has Cecil, and all of the kids to rely on, but... still... he wants to do his part.]
no subject
Thank you, Vincent. If it does...then I will.

...Selphie misses you.
no subject
She's welcome to visit at any time she wants, of course, but... I know I haven't been around as much as I should be.
[He doesn't want to seem like the monsters inside him are an excuse to stay away, because they're not. He wishes it weren't like that...]

[Your daughter is a worrywart, okay? She got it from her Mother.]

I know, but... I don't want to risk one of them turning upon you against my will.
