[Vincent is off in a forested area not far from town. He's seated under a tree, thinking and watching leaves fall.]
Yet another alternate reality... but something about this was different from others. As if we were living out a set story, each time...
[It's not as if they have the exact same fairytales on his world, after all, but there had been a strange way to how the week's events had unfolded that it was noticeable. He wonders about it, vaguely, and about the parallel to the one he'd lived through and how it fit into his own background. There's also plenty of other things on his mind, the typical human vs monster divide, and the love issues... but he won't bring any of those up on here.]
[He takes a red leaf in hand as it falls and stares at it.]
...the time of year... it's close. Perhaps it's best if I spend it away.

[She's quiet for a moment, and then asks:]
How often do those happen here, if you know the answer to that?
[voice]
It's a regular occurrence... typically every month. Even knowing this, we can do nothing to prevent their effects.

[ She giggles, even if there's something nervous about it. ]
I don't think many people got hurt, so it's a good thing.

[Since he's familiar enough with stories that have similar tropes, even if not the exact same ones.]
It's rare to have an experiment cause so little harm. Perhaps that was fortunate.

I would be more than willing to forget the events of the past week.

[Yes, it's not just about the autumn. It's about Vincent having far too much else in mind, as always.]

Perhaps I'm still determining what it should mean now.
[It's only been a few years he's been... conscious, altered as he is.]

[He still can't bring himself to think about that holiday too much. It's like the universe played a horribly twisted joke, making it share his name. Good thing that's not anytime soon though.]
It's about neither of those.

[Action] fhasljdhsa did not mean to be so late. /pile of fail
Today, she hears someone talking not far away. Being who she is, the only course of action is to head towards the sound to say hello. She only arrives in time to hear Vincent's last couple of sentences, and so she greets him with:] Hello! Are you going on a trip?
[Action] nothign wrong with late!
I was considering some time away from town.
[Action]
Hmm.... You should go to the beach. It's a nice place to have a vacation.
[Action]
I suppose I could find a secluded area.
