[Vincent is avoiding people at the moment, but he's restless and in need of focusing on something, so he's doing just that... in the form of target practice in the barracks. An early/late enough time should be fine to avoid people, or so he thinks.]

[Since he has no idea what the Malnosso look like, he's envisioning the next best thing- Hojo!- as the target that he's shooting at. This is clearly seen in the thought bubble above his head.]

[This next part gets picked up by the journal nearby, as well: The sound of eerie whispers, groans, and growls. There are four voices, all of them clearly inhuman and all speaking at once. Sometimes one voice rises above the others, sometimes it's hard to pick out just one individual among them. A demonic laugh drowns them out for a moment, before a fifth voice suddenly breaks in...]

(...Be silent.)

Tsk, tsk, Vincent. You should let your inner demons come out and play. They sound loads more fun than you. [He lowers his voice to a childish whisper.] They'd probably have a lot of fun with Lucrecia, huh?

[Of course Yuffie has been looking for Vincent, because honestly, who wouldn't want to know what goes on in his mind?

She's watching from outside the window though, just so she can watch for a bit before he catches her.]

[Vincent keeps focused on the imaginary Hojo targets in his mind, shooting steadily for a good while before that feeling of being watched finally gets the better of him. He doesn't sense anything threatening but even so he turns to look at the window...]

[Vincent sighs, and shoots a little more to take some more of his tension out. Then again looks toward Yuffie. A question mark rises above his head, as he really doesn't know what she's up to.]

[As usual, Arumat is lurking around the barracks practicing his techniques against one of the training dummies there. The sight of someone with a gun is an unusual one; the last person he ran into using that type of weapon here was Horatio Caine, and from what he's heard the man was sent home some time ago. He'll pause in his own training to watch Vincent practicing-- he's no fan of guns himself, but that doesn't mean he isn't intrigued.]

[Vincent continues focusing on his mental images of Hojo. He keeps shooting at an unrelenting pace, not letting up focus until the creepy voices of his demons grow a bit more subdued in his mind.]

[Then he glances around, sensing someone is there watching.]
