[Vincent wakes to a room that's been fully redecorated into, as his AU so cheerfully described it, a 'palace of love.' The walls are pastel pink, and along with a wide array of flowers, there are all sorts of sensual things placed strategically around. He groans upon recalling the past week. Then he pulls his hair out of the ponytail as he looks around a room that would put the Honeybee Inn to shame.]

[As he opens his journal, there's a good view of his lovely new surroundings. Then his scowling face comes into the picture.]

My behavior last week was inexcusable, although the Malnosso are technically at fault.

Regardless, to anyone I spoke with... I apologize.

[Vincent then starts the process of de-beautifying his room, taking away some of the tackier ...items... that he ended up having there. He can be seen wandering to and from his place as he seeks to strip away the memories of his AU self. He's basically throwing all the things into a big pile far enough from his building, for Galian to burn when he's ready.]

[An interesting thought. For all the self-punishment he thinks he deserved, there were plenty of times he'd have given anything to remain human.]

Don't we all wish we could be someone else at times. But in the end, I can't imagine being anyone else.

[Which is only half-true. He knows what he would have become if he'd stayed with Solon, and he wasn't fond of that.]

[There's a long pause as he remembers what he's done. But that meant nothing now. He has friends now. He was no longer alone...at least back home. He shan't be shackled to his past anymore. When he does respond, it comes out in a quiet voice.]
