[Vincent wakes to a room that's been fully redecorated into, as his AU so cheerfully described it, a 'palace of love.' The walls are pastel pink, and along with a wide array of flowers, there are all sorts of sensual things placed strategically around. He groans upon recalling the past week. Then he pulls his hair out of the ponytail as he looks around a room that would put the Honeybee Inn to shame.]

[As he opens his journal, there's a good view of his lovely new surroundings. Then his scowling face comes into the picture.]

My behavior last week was inexcusable, although the Malnosso are technically at fault.

Regardless, to anyone I spoke with... I apologize.

[Vincent then starts the process of de-beautifying his room, taking away some of the tackier ...items... that he ended up having there. He can be seen wandering to and from his place as he seeks to strip away the memories of his AU self. He's basically throwing all the things into a big pile far enough from his building, for Galian to burn when he's ready.]

[Has a quiet moment of thought.] It's not as if I have much choice but to deal with it somehow...

That's why you should learn to take things in stride. You're going to wear yourself out thinking about things you can't control.

[He's headed back out, since the sooner they get this done, the better. At least it's helping to calm the storm in his mind, since the more the reminders are out of sight, the less they can bother him.]

It wouldn't be the first time I've heard that.

There's a reason people mention it.

Perhaps there is... I will have more to consider now. [Picking more stuff up, at least that's almost taken care of. Another trip or so should do it.]

[Assuming Ted's been helping with the moving this whole time, he grins. Good.] It's not a bad idea.

[Nods, deep in thought, as he continues along and once more deposits stuff away when he reaches the store.]

[And this should be the last few.] There we go.

[Vincent is incredibly relieved now that that's done.] ...Thank you.

No problem. That wasn't so bad, was it?

[He does seem to be calmer.] Not as terrible as I assumed.

Good. Glad to know we're not getting any more fires.

[He nods agreement, after all it's not as if he wishes to unleash any monsters... it just builds up until it happens.]

Not this time... fortunately.

Do you always decide on those kinds of things when upset?

There's a side of me... that isn't entirely human. Perhaps I'll explain that further, one day. [He's certain it'll have to come up eventually around this place, anyway. One can't avoid their true nature here for long.]
