It's been a trying time for us all. These events are far beyond my expertise to handle, although I've done all that I could. [A small sigh about that. This version still has his angst about the monsters, but he also has a way of distracting himself.]

In the meantime, while we have something of a respite... for any ladies who are lonely for companionship, I would be honored to provide that. To those I'm not acquainted with, I'm your resident Valentine. Vincent Valentine.

[Be afraid. Be very afraid. Vincent has actually combed his hair and has tied it back into a ponytail. He's also looking very... gentlemanly and polished overall, and has even set aside his old tattered cape for one that's in much better condition. He's in a mood to wander around town, so you can expect to run into him most anywhere today.]

[...and if you're a woman expect to be randomly given a single red rose if he should so much as glance at you.]

Wonderful! It'll be such a relaxing time... and you deserve it. [He takes her hand eagerly, and starts walking along to the lake.]

[Yeah. Relaxing. For her. As soon as he takes her hand a small blue and purple glow slowly begins to surround the two of them, eventually covering both of them in a veil of azure. It's a rather beautiful sight really, with tiny crystal like pieces visible amongst the mist.]

[Soon the veil begins to fade and Bernkastel releases Vince's hand. When the glow goes away completely the two are now in a completely different place. At the southern lake specifically.

In fact they aren't just at the lake. It won't take long to notice that they're actually about 10 feet over it, right above the centered deep end. Of course Vince will have to notice this as he begins to fall into the lake from the air, while Bern just uses her hovering to keep herself from plummeting.]

[Vincent is just imagining the lovely time they'll be having at the lake when...]

[...he's quickly falling INTO the lake, plunging in with a heavy SPLASH. He kicks toward the surface, sputtering as he comes up for air.]

[She slowly floats down, until she's about 2 feet above him.]

Had a nice swim darling? [The last word simply drips of sarcasm and malice. Serves you right for hitting on her.]

[Treads water. Well. THIS is a new form of rejection! If it really is that? He's very thick-headed in many respects.]

...so then... I assume you won't want to join me in the water?

[Her response to that will be another blue glow surrounding him, teleporting him out of the water and about ten feet above the lake again.]

[Aaaaaand SPLASH!]

[Once again as he gets his bearings underwater, he swims to the surface. As he comes up, he spits out water, glancing slowly up.]

I suppose I should take that as a 'no'? Are you absolutely certain about that?

[Once again she teleports him out of the water and into the air. However, she doesn't drop him and instead keeps him hovering while the same blue glow surrounds him.]

If you think I have any quarrels about throwing you in and out of this lake all day then please continue to pursue me. It won't bore me.

[Rather than wait for him to answer the blue glow fades away. Get ready to drop again Vincent.]
