[Vincent wakes to a room that's been fully redecorated into, as his AU so cheerfully described it, a 'palace of love.' The walls are pastel pink, and along with a wide array of flowers, there are all sorts of sensual things placed strategically around. He groans upon recalling the past week. Then he pulls his hair out of the ponytail as he looks around a room that would put the Honeybee Inn to shame.]

[As he opens his journal, there's a good view of his lovely new surroundings. Then his scowling face comes into the picture.]

My behavior last week was inexcusable, although the Malnosso are technically at fault.

Regardless, to anyone I spoke with... I apologize.

[Vincent then starts the process of de-beautifying his room, taking away some of the tackier ...items... that he ended up having there. He can be seen wandering to and from his place as he seeks to strip away the memories of his AU self. He's basically throwing all the things into a big pile far enough from his building, for Galian to burn when he's ready.]

[He winces, and then hides his expression further behind his high collar as he nods in response. He really does despise how insanely productive his other self was.]

I must remove all traces of that person your... alternate self... met.

... [Ted looks at him for a moment, unsure. Was this really the same guy?] That bad?

[Vincent nods solemnly.]

My behavior was disgraceful. I'm sorry that I inflicted that upon you.

Well... [Eh. He didn't embarrass himself, so it didn't really matter much to Ted, but the guy probably felt like crawling into a hole for eternity. He supposed he could cut him some slack.] Eh, it's fine. It's not like you actually did anything to me. [Except strip. Let's just forget that thought.]

[Yes, there are some outcomes he doesn't even want to contemplate.] ...Seen in that light, I realize it may have been worse.

May have been. [Pause.] Need help?

This is the last of it. [Adds to the pile.] ...I think we're far enough removed from town for a fire?

... You're burning them?

I see no better means to destroy these things entirely.

You do know that people will notice a fire from a mile away, right?

I normally wouldn't condone such a destructive method, but in this case... [Sighs.] Perhaps a chainsaw would suffice better?

It's... a mechanical blade. [Not getting into detail that it would be operated by a MONSTER. But Vincent is irritated enough that he can feel them struggling just below the surface. Might be best just to let one out and get it over with. He knows he can leash them in better with the power cap restored anyway.]

That doesn't really tell me what it is though.

If you're familiar with a regular saw... it functions on the same principle, with more advanced technology.

Would that really clear out all of this?

[Sighs and closes his eyes a moment in an effort to maintain inner balance with everyone.]

...but it cannot remain in my place.

There's always the option of returning it to the shops.

[There's a slight growly edge to his tone.]
